Mike Hartrich

Hello, my name is Mike Hartrich.  I’m a licensed general building contractor in California.  I’ve been in residential construction for over 25 years. During that time I’ve done everything from designing the house to putting the roof on it.  I’ve also built a driveway bridge over a creek, which was a lot of fun.  I spent two years as a construction manager putting up cell phone towers.   Now that’s a chaotic business!  I learned a lot about how to be organized.  All my construction business is by referral. I’m proud of that. I’m also the inventor of the CordSnake, a small tool that keeps power tools and extension cords connected.  You can check that out at http://www.cordsnake.com . I’m a student of history.  We live in interesting times.  In the not-so-distant future our challenges may well grow stronger and more taxing.  In that case we will simply have to rise to the occasion. Do your best today, and build a strong foundation for tomorrow.
