“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” ~ Sir Winston Leonard Spenser Churchill

What are you doing?

I’ve been in construction for almost thirty years.  My referral business is good and I don’t advertise.  Happy customers make the best advertising.  But the reality here is that construction has taken a huge hit.  I am developing my online business, but I’m still doing construction part-time.  I talk to other builders on a daily basis.  I talk to the guys at the local lumber yard.   We all know that everything has changed and that the boom days are a distant memory.   So what are you and I going to do about it?  I’ve been in the inventing game, so I’m developing on online business around that.  I just started up my new web site for builders with inventions.  I have a strategy in place on how to develop income from that.  I spent the last year investigating Internet business and marketing.  I’m convinced that there is a real opportunity here for developing a home-based business,  but it will take work.  It will also take some creative thinking.  What is the best way to capitalize on your construction experience?  What kind of product or service can you offer over the Internet?  Start brainstorming and share your ideas here.
